Kneaders Bakery & Cafe is currently looking for a talented part‑time Assistant Bread Baker. We are looking for an individual who is as passionate about food quality, customer service, and community as we are; in the role of Assistant Bread Baker, you will have the opportunity to be part of a dynamic team offering a unique menu selection of artisan, sweet, and seasonal breads baked with honest, whole ingredients.

• Proven track record of demonstrating culinary skills, following recipes, paying close attention to details, and creating one‑of‑a‑kind breads. Lifting large amounts of dough, flour, and other supplies that weigh 50 lb. or more is an important task – ability to stand, lift, and mix isyllabus also a daily requirement.
• Ability to work through change and be flexible while keeping a close eye on what’s cooking.
• Schedule availability to work afternoons/nights. Bread‑baking dotshifts start around 11 am – 7 pm, plus a shift on Sunday (when the store is closed). During holiday seasons the schedule may flex into overnight shifts.

• Large‑scale baking/pastry experience (preferred but not required; we are willing todiensten train the right person).
• Attentiveness to compliance with local, state, and federal regulations for food handlers & sanitation standards.
• Formal baking/pastry education is a bonus.

Must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for the role of Bread Baker at Kneaders Bakery Jenna Cafe.
