We are seeking an energetic and experienced Paramedic level Instructor to join our team! As an instructor for EMT Basic and EMT Advanced, you will lead a class of students through a successful EMT Class approximately 12 weeks long. creating and implementing a comprehensive educational curriculum. Your goal is to create a welcoming learning environment and provide students with the tools they need to reach their full potential.

The ideal candidate is compassionate, creative, and has a passion for teaching!

• Plan a classroom curriculum that meets school standards
• teach EMT level skills
• help with VR Curriculum
• Instruct in back of ambulance
• teach ambulance protocols and skills
• Encourage the development of students’ critical thinking skills
• Prepare any necessary learning materials
• Assign homework
• Take attendance
• Grade assignments and provide feedback
• Document students’ learning progress
• Collaborate with other teachers and school personnel to create a healthy and safe learning environment
• Report and document behavioral incidents

• Paramedic certification
• licensed by BEMPS, or willing to obtain this certification rapidly
• actual experience as EMT advanced or paramedic level erience
• Understanding of teaching and classroom principles and best practices in education and classroom management
• adhere to the guidelines
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
