As Kitchen Leader you will learn how to prepare great food, grill meats, sauté vegetables, and be responsible for ensuring our food is absolutely delicious. You will order supplies, keep the kitchen clean, organized, well‑stocked, and maintain equipment. You will train crew members to become future Kitchen Leaders, embody teamwork and create a great customer experience.
What You'll Do- Ensure food quality by cooking and preparing food to order and following kitchen procedures.
- Monitor food waste and inventory levels and resolve food quality issues.
- Support a strong team dynamic between back‑of‑house crew and front‑of‑house crew.
- Develop crew members to be future Kitchen Leaders.
- Communicate with crew members and customers effectively to ensure great service and throughput.
- Ensure the kitchen is properly cleaned and sanitized.
- Monitor kitchen equipment and ensure it is kept in good repair; report malfunctions promptly.
- Ensure kitchen safety and that crew members meet all injury‑prevention guidelines.
- Complete required paperwork such as Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) and inventory rotation (FIFO).
- Understanding of and ability to articulate Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.
- Proficiency in the primary language(s) of the work location.
- High school diploma.

Base pay range: $17.40–$19.35 per hour, plus digital tips. Pay may vary based on skill level, experience, and education. Chipotle offers a competitive benefits package.
