USA Sport Groupis at the forefront of providing high-quality sports enrichment programs to over 60,000 children annually. With classes and camps taking place in over 400 towns across NY, NJ, PA, and CT, our office and administrative roles play an integral part in making a difference in thousands of children's lives through sport. The Equipment Assistant will work alongside the Equipment Manager to support the day-to-day requirements of both the business and department.

The successful candidate will ensure that all coaches are equipped with the necessary kits and that seasonal transitions run smoothly.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with equipment and uniform distribution throughout the year.
  • Communicate with the Equipment Manager about damaged or missing items during inventory checks, ensuring timely invoicing to staff.
  • Possess reliable transportation to manage last-minute equipment needs and visit storage units on a weekly basis.
  • Support inventory management and stock level monitoring year-round.
  • Unload deliveries and manage heavy item movement daily at the Bound Brook facility.
  • Research new suppliers for sports department needs.
  • Support growth efforts for the USG Merchandise website.

  • Computer literacy (Microsoft Office programs, including Excel and Outlook).
  • Flexibility and a willingness to take on diverse roles and responsibilities.

  • Dependability, reliability, and excellent timekeeping skills.
Requirements
  • This is a
    part-time role
    , offering up to
    20 hours per week
    , with hours varying based on seasonal needs.
  • Some travel is required.
  • Ability to lift and carry or move 25/50/80 pounds.
  • A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • This is an onsite position based at our TTC facility in Bound Brook, NJ.
Preference (but not required)
  • Comfortable driving a rental van (up to the size of a cargo van) as needed.
