As a Bus Driver you will safely operate a fixed route bus service open to the public in Boulder or surrounding areas assisting with various contracts, while adhering to Via’s Standard Operating Procedures. In this role you will work closely with dispatch on scheduling and routes where you will be responsible for communicating and assisting passengers.
We have 2 full time positions where the general hours are 1:00 pm through 10:00 pm in 8‑hour shifts. Days to be determined but will include at least one weekend day per week. Hours are approximate.
The starting range for the position is $23.39-$30.26 / hour depending on years of CDL driving experience with an additional $1 /hr differential on weekend shifts.
Qualifications:- Must be at least 19 years of age
- High School Diploma/GED
- Possess a valid Driver’s License in good standing. CDL Class B is preferred but will train (no cost to you) to get proper licensing
- Reliable work history with strong punctuality and attendance
- Be able to work independently
- Sustain a positive rapport with the general public and passengers
- Must pass and maintain a DOT physical, random drug testing and ongoing Motor Vehicle Records Checks
