Lockheed Martin’s NSS Program is seeking a talented Software Systems Engineer, Sr. with an active Secret clearance to work from either our Boulder, CO or Longmont, CO location(s). Our Resilient MEO Missile Warning and Tracking (RMWT) Ground Management and Integration (GMI) team is looking for a motivated Software Engineer to augment our Agile Team in support of our Overhead Persistent Infrared (OPIR) Mission.

The role involves design, development and maintenance of the codebase, testing, adapting and testing frameworks for new interfaces, developing APIs, and developing mission processing applications.

• Experience with one or more of the following:
• Java development experience
• Python development experience
• Linux OS background/Experience developing in a Linux environment
• Experience developing maintainable code as well as performing unit, integration, and regression testing.
• An active Secret clearance is required for consideration

• Mission Data Processing Experience
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university in an engineering or scientific discipline.
• Experience developing, deploying, and supporting AWS based systems.
• Demonstrated understanding of agile development within a scrum team.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Git Lab CI, etc.
• Experience with Compass, Horizon, Nayru, and Astrolabe.
• Must have strong teamwork skills.
• Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills

This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full‑time:
The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules:
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off

The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $93,200 - $164,450. For states not referenced…
