Minimum qualifications- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 years of experience with software development or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree in an industry setting.
- 2 years of experience with developing large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems or networks, or experience with compute technologies, storage or hardware architecture.
- Master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical fields.
- 2 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.

The Chrome
OS team ships OS updates to millions of users across device models.
Our team develops and supports comprehensive release workflows characterized by several key features, including security checks, release gating, and feature flag guarding. These workflows are essential for creating release artifacts across various branches and devices. To ensure these artifacts reach users securely, we utilize sophisticated systems for the creation, hosting, and management of release keys used in signing builds. Our operations rely on a fleet of release builders and underlying infrastructure, while maintaining dependencies on various upstream and downstream services.
Our team consists of dedicated engineers focused on developing the infrastructure, tools, and workflows necessary to maintain a punctual release schedule for Chrome
OS and upcoming devices.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $141,000-$202,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
