Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a full-time early career Software Engineer in Boulder, Colorado on the Next Gen Geo (NGG) OPIR Program.

• Integrate into a small, high-performing Product Team led by a Scrum Master and Product Owner.
• Support daily Scrum Meetings, Team Demos, and monthly Staff Calls.
• Work under very general supervision in support of larger team goals.
• Perform design, development, maintenance, and testing of code written primarily in C++.
• Interpret complex system requirements.
• Obtain a government security clearance.
• Work in a facility that requires special access.

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Aerospace, Computer Engineering, or related discipline.
• Programming experience or relevant coursework in C++/C, Java, and/or Python.
• Experience developing maintainable code as well as performing unit, integration, and regression testing.
• Ability to obtain a secret clearance.

• Familiarity with Agile process.
• Linux OS background/Experience developing in a Linux environment.
• Scripting skills.
• Exposure to high‑stakes work environments & executing critical deliverables in a fast‑paced environment.
• TS/SCI clearance.
• Self‑driven, strong work ethic and ability to work independently with attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office software products.

Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $62,700 - $110,630. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.

accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year. This position is incentive plan eligible.

Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California, Massachusetts, and New York is $72,200 - $125,005.
