• Assist PI Yueqi Chen in the refactor and modernization of CAM/CAM-SIMA’s code through separating computational and control code.
• Rewrite control code into Python.

• The starting salary for this position is $30,325.00 per year; this is a 25% FTE position working 10 hours per week.

• PhD in Earth Science.
• Expertise in the application of Earth system modeling and data assimilation, as well as machine learning.

• Previous/current experience in working in NCAR.

• Publication in Science, Nature Geoscience, PNAS.
• NSF funding experience.
