Plant Health Care Specialist

Plant Health Care Specialist — responsible for monitoring, diagnosing, and treating tree and shrub health issues within a specific territory.

• Inspect plant material and identify pests, diseases, or other concerns
• Select and apply the most appropriate treatments to promote plant health
• Prepare written diagnostic reports and educate clients about their landscape
• Operate spray and application equipment safely and effectively
• Work independently to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction

This role is ideal for someone who loves problem-solving, enjoys working outdoors, and takes pride in protecting and enhancing the natural environment.

• You are passionate about plants, eager to learn, and motivated to grow within the field of plant health care.
• A degree in Arboriculture, Urban Forestry, Horticulture, Plant Science, Plant Pathology, Environmental Sciences, Landscape Management, Turfgrass, or related experience (preferred)
• The ability to work independently with responsibility and care
• Excellent written, verbal, and listening skills to engage with clients effectively
• Willingness to learn plant/tree identification and safe equipment use
• Commitment to completing required training and obtaining necessary certifications and licenses
• Authorization to lawfully work in the U.S.
• A valid driver’s license with the ability to operate service-line vehicles

This role pays between $21 - $26 (depending on experience) + benefits + PTO
