We currently have clinics located in Boulder (2 locations), Louisville, Longmont, and Erie.

Summary

Boulder Medical Center (BMC) is seeking experienced Medical Assistants and medically trained candidates to join our Resource Team! This is a benefits‑eligible, full‑time position working four days per week, 9‑hour shifts (36 hours/week), Monday‑Friday based on clinic needs, with some rotating Saturday morning shifts required. The position is based at our Arapahoe clinic, 4745 Arapahoe Ave, Suite 200, Boulder, CO 80304, and travel within Boulder County to our Broadway location in Boulder, Longmont, or Erie locations may be required, depending on the provider or clinic being covered.

With more than 20 outpatient specialty care areas across Boulder Medical Center, we’re confident you can find your clinical passion. Below is a list of specialties currently offered at the Broadway location (other BMC locations offer different specialty services).

Job Duties
  • Perform clinic administrative duties, including answering incoming telephone calls, obtaining and/or verifying patient information, patient check‑in/out, and coordinating and facilitating accurate patient appointments.
  • Obtain patient medical history, vital signs, chart preparation, medication dosage and frequency, patient allergens, and assist with medical examinations.
  • Maintain accurate and strict confidentiality of patient information in electronic and/or manual systems as established by the appropriate protocols, regulations, and policies.
  • Prepare examination room, ensuring proper equipment is present and the room is adequately stocked.
  • Document all aspects of the patient encounter on an electronic medical record system.
Required Experience
  • Must be able to recognize and identify patient symptoms and use appropriate professional judgment in the course of action.
  • Must have reliable transportation and the ability to travel to and work at all four (4) BMC sites, as assigned.
  • Must be available by phone to accept assignment changes as needed.
Requirements Education Requirements (one of the following options)
