Fabrication Technician

Pay: $20–$24/hour (weekend shift has 12% differential)

Schedule:

Sun‑Thurs 2:00pm‑10:30pm or Fri‑Sun 6:00am‑6:30pm

Job Store Staffing is hiring a Fabrication Technician I for a local manufacturing facility in Boulder! This position is perfect for someone who enjoys hands‑on work, attention to detail, and learning new skills in a high‑tech production environment.

As a Fabrication Technician, you’ll work with a team to produce precision optical components following detailed specifications and quality standards.

• Perform optical fabrication processes including beveling, blocking, edging, milling, sawing, and grinding.
• Operate equipment to shape and finish components within tight tolerances (up to .001”).
• Inspect and clean parts to maintain quality standards.
• Read and interpret work instructions and blueprints.
• Use precision measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, comparators, and microscopes.
• Assist with general production tasks as assigned.

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Strong attention to detail and math skills
• Ability to follow written instructions and work independently or as part of a team
• No prior experience required — training provided!
