We’re hiring a high-level CNC Machinist to run CNC milling machines and produce precision components in a small, technically demanding shop.

This role is for someone who values accuracy, problem-solving, and adaptability
. You’ll spend most of your time machining titanium components, with significant work in copper, along with technical ceramics and some aluminum. Prior ceramics experience is not required — we have streamlined processes and provide training. Daily tasks include performing machining, ensuring quality control, maintaining complex machinery, and fabricating precision components. Collaboration with the engineering team to meet specifications and ensure project alignment is also part of the role.

• Independently set up and run CNC milling machines
• Interpret detailed drawings and GD&T
• Select tooling and fixturing strategies
• Verify first articles and hold tight tolerances
• Make intelligent program edits at the machine
• Machine primarily titanium
  , with substantial copper work
• Machine technical ceramics (Macor, zirconia) after training
• Occasional aluminum machining
• Produce very small, high-precision features — #0-80 is common
  , 2-56 is considered large
  , and 4-40 is unusual

• Strong CNC milling experience with ownership of full setups and parts
• Comfortable machining delicate features and working at small scales
• Able to take a raw print and independently produce a correct part
• Careful, methodical approach to precision work
• Willingness to learn new materials and processes
• Clear communication and good judgment

This role is not suited for entry-level operators or candidates who have not owned full CNC setups.

• CAM experience (Fusion 360, Mastercam, etc.)
• Manual machining background

• $24–$38/hr
