Position Overview

Spectra Logic is seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Coordinator to support core inventory control activities across manufacturing and warehouse operations. This role is execution-focused and well-suited for someone early in their supply chain or operations career who enjoys working with data, systems, and process discipline. The Inventory Coordinator will support cycle counting, inventory investigation, shop floor audits, and RMA planning while building deeper ERP and analytical skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support and execute the cycle count program, including scheduling, physical counts, reconciliation, and discrepancy follow-up
  • Perform inventory investigations using the ERP system to research discrepancies and support root‑cause analysis
  • Audit shop floor order closures to ensure accurate material consumption, labor reporting, and inventory transactions
  • Assist with RMA part forecasting and planning, including reviewing historical usage and supporting replenishment planning
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and support ongoing improvements to inventory accuracy and control
  • Build and maintain Excel‑based trackers and reports to support inventory visibility and analysis
  • Partner with warehouse, manufacturing, and planning teams to support inventory processes and resolve issues
  • Support internal inventory audits and compliance activities as needed
Required Qualifications
  • 1–3 years of experience in inventory control, materials, warehouse operations, or a related role
  • Working knowledge of ERP systems in a manufacturing or supply‑chain environment
  • Proficient Excel skills, including formulas, pivot tables, and basic data analysis
  • Strong attention to detail and an interest in investigating and resolving discrepancies
  • Ability to follow defined processes while identifying opportunities for improvement
  • Clear communication skills and ability to work effectively with cross‑functional teams
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in a manufacturing or hardware environment
  • Exposure to cycle counting, RMAs, or shop floor transactions
  • Familiarity with inventory audits or internal controls
  • APICS / CPIM coursework or certification (a plus, not required)
Compensation & Benefits
  • Compensation: $24.00‑27.00 per hour.
While this salary range is a good faith and reasonable estimate, a candidate’s actual salary will be competitive based on a variety of factors including the candidate’s knowledge, skills, and experience.
  • Competitive benefits package, including health coverage, PTO, and retirement plan
