Optics Fabrication Technician

Our client, a leader in precision manufacturing and optical technology, is seeking a dedicated Optics Fabrication Technician to join their team. As an Optics Fabrication Technician, you will be part of the manufacturing department supporting the optical fabrication process. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, strong collaboration skills, and a commitment to quality, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Optics Fabrication Technician

Location: Boulder, CO

Pay Range: $25

Shift: 2:30pm to 10:30pm

What's the Job?

• Fabricate precision optical components from initial print through finished product
• Perform beveling, milling, blocking, grinding, polishing, curve generation, and inspection
• Ensure all work meets customer and quality specifications
• Perform detailed inspections, measurements, and in-process quality checks
• Monitor and maintain fabrication conditions, including Baume and pH levels

What's Needed?

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Optics or fabrication experience preferred; quality or inspection experience a plus
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and committed to precision
• Strong collaboration skills and ability to work across teams
• Interest in building a long-term career in optical fabrication or precision manufacturing
