A Day in the LifeWe have an excellent opportunity to add to our E‑beam team as part of our Poly Adhesive Pads area out of Medtronic Boulder which assembles, tests, and delivers world‑class grounding pads to hospitals around the world. This technical role will support the operations line in a high‑level capacity and ensure the quality of our work that will provide electro‑surgical capabilities to our patients worldwide.

In this role the employees are a key component of our team within the E‑beam area where it is the first processing step in providing the larger area and two manufacturing sites worth of conductive adhesive which will become our pads downstream. This role will allow you to learn the process and work within a team environment to create large rolls of materials and test them to ensure quality before the next steps.
The operators must be mechanically inclined to learn to operate and understand the machine processing, be flexible in shift scheduling with teammates and demand planning and must be able to understand and follow all safety requirements. The operators are forklift certified, and often overtime is available within this role to meet our customers’ needs.
- Performs a variety of tasks ranging from repetitive to non‑repetitive production assembly operations.
- Works from visual aids, method layouts, diagrams, schematics, process flow sheets and written or verbal assembly instructions.
- Sets initial layouts, and uses a variety of tools to prepare product(s).
- Makes continuity checks on work in process and completed.
- May conduct quality inspections on processing line in accordance with quality specifications.
- May disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and test experimental or prototype assemblies and sub‑assemblies according to specifications and under simulated conditions.
- Forklift certification will be added within on‑the‑job training.
Standard First Shift Hours 6:45 am–2:45 pm (often request for overtime and shift split hours).
Minimum Requirements- Requires minimum of 4 years of experience and may require vocational or technical education or certification in addition to prior work experience.
- Previous forklift experience
- Mechanical background working with equipment and machines
- Flexible within shift requirements to meet our demand planning needs

Medtronic offers a competitive salary and flexible benefits package.
Salary ranges for U.S. (excl. PR) locations (USD): $45,200.00 – $67,800.00.
This position is eligible for a short‑term incentive called the Operations Incentive Plan (OIP).
