Job Description

Customer & Technical Support Intern

During the summer of 2026, you will work in a high‑paced environment with our Techline team. Your focus will be to provide accurate and timely detailed solution configurations for customer quotes/orders and update our systems with product configurations and order codes for specific products, features, and maintenance contracts. You will apply AI skills and approaches to streamline these processes and collaborate with team members to understand current processes and tools, determine and develop areas of optimization and communication using AI.

Responsibilities
  • Cross over with team members to understand the Software Release Process and Order Management Process involving product configuration and quotes.
  • Determine areas for optimization with current processes through data analysis and AI applications.
  • Work with core technical and business support functions to determine priorities and tasks for potential automation and optimization.
  • Design and implement systems to interface with large language models for business applications in Order Management, Software Product Release, Product configurations and quotes.
  • Actively participate in pair programming and team brainstorming sessions.
  • Perform a variety of tasks as directed by the management team.
Qualifications
  • Student must be currently enrolled in an accredited college or university.
  • Student must be pursuing a degree in Business Management, Math & Statistics, or a related major (preferred).
  • Student must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
  • Student must successfully complete all required screenings prior to hire.
Required Skills
  • Detail oriented and organized.
  • Superior interpersonal and written communication skills.
  • Highly motivated with the ability to multi‑task.
  • Some knowledge of developing AI prompts and agents.
  • Excellent communication skills with a collaborative mindset.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
Preferred Skills
  • Passion for improving the Business Management and Technical Support experience through innovative developer tools.
  • Professional experience with order management systems.
  • Strong AI workflow automation, generative AI tools and AI agents.
  • Experience or interest in Large Language Models / Deep Learning.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Experience in identifying innovative opportunities.
Working Conditions
  • Typically works in an office environment with adequate lighting and ventilation, and a normal range of temperature and noise level.
  • Work assignments are diversified and involve interpreting, comprehending, and applying complex material, data, and instructions.
  • Prepare, provide, and convey diversified information.
  • Minimal physical effort is required. Most work is sedentary but may require walking, standing, bending, reaching, lifting or carrying objects typically less than 10 lbs.
  • Moderate dexterity and regular application of basic skills (calculator, keyboard, hand tools, eye/hand coordination).
