Stream is looking to expand the Integration Support Engineering team in our Boulder office (full‑time, 3 days/week in‑office). In this position, you’ll enjoy learning about our Chat, Video, Activity Feeds, and AI Moderation products, and the code behind them, as well as helping our customers make the most out of our products and services. This position offers excellent growth potential, and the opportunity to take ownership of a role in an exciting marketplace.
Aboutyou
- You’re competent in reading and writing code in one or more of the following languages:
Python, JavaScript, Java, Kotlin, Ruby, and Swift. - You have strong experience with React and modern web development best practices is required.
- You’ll use your technical knowledge of APIs to learn the Stream products and services.
- You will use your technical communication skills to help our customers understand problems and point them in the right direction.
- Being organized and motivated is key to this role. You’ll be expected to manage your own time effectively to contribute to projects and initiatives in various departments.
- As our customer communication and internal correspondence are in English, you’ll be required to be fluent in English and have excellent written language skills.
- You have experience working on a codebase at a professional level.
- You have experience in a technical customer support role.
- Experience with mobile application frameworks such as React Native, Swift
UI, and/or Jetpack Compose.
The ideal candidate for this position is predisposed to enjoy helping people with their challenges and enjoys multi-tasking. You’ll work directly with sales teams, customers, and marketing as a technical reference and often be our customers' first point of contact. You’ll enjoy seeking out answers, but also know it’s best to seek help from more experienced developers.
Primary Responsibilities- Provide technical support to customers via our support platform and elevated Enterprise channels.
- Act as the primary technical point of contact for Enterprise customers.
- Support customers throughout their full integration lifecycle — from initial implementation to production.
- Partner with Sales and Customer Success Managers as a technical resource during pre‑sales, onboarding, and post‑sales engagements.
- Continue building our community support platform by assisting and writing short technical articles on best practices.
- Work on improvements and optimizations to our documentation/processes.
- Seek feedback from customers to determine key growth areas.
- Assist the development team in managing new feature requests and bug reports.
