Join our 2026 Yes Energy Internship Program and work on exciting projects to shape your career in People Operations. The intern will perform basic People data analysis and support core HR initiatives that provide insight into employee experience, engagement, and workforce trends.   • Hourly Rate Range: $19.00/hr (1st year), $20.00/hr (2nd year), $21.00/hr (3rd year), $22.00/hr (4th year)
  • Reports to:

    Senior Director, People Operations
The intern will learn and be exposed to
  • Fundamentals of People Operations within a high-growth SaaS company
  • Structure and maintenance of core HR processes (onboarding, employee lifecycle, engagement, performance management)
  • How People initiatives support business growth, leadership effectiveness, and organizational alignment
  • Employee experience measurement, including engagement surveys and pulse feedback
  • People analytics fundamentals (headcount reporting, turnover metrics, basic workforce data analysis)
  • Data accuracy, documentation, and confidentiality in HR systems
  • Introductory exposure to HR systems and tools (ADP payroll, Lattice engagement, Greenhouse recruiting)
  • The role of People Operations in recruiting coordination and candidate experience
  • Behind-the-scenes processes that ensure compliance, consistency, and a strong employee experience
Project Work

Your official project depends on your skills and what you want to develop. Potential areas include:

  • Support employee engagement initiatives by assisting with survey administration, data organization, and basic analysis
  • Assist with onboarding process improvements, including documentation and experience mapping
  • Document and streamline core People Operations processes to improve clarity and scalability
  • Assist with recruiting coordination and candidate experience initiatives
Requirements
  • Strong understanding of Google Suite for Business or MS Office
  • Strong research and organizational skills
  • Problem-solving and critical thinking
  • Ability to prioritize opportunities and multitask effectively
  • Detail-oriented with high standards for accuracy
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
  • A strong desire to learn, grow, and explore new things
  • Pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, Organization Development, or a related field with a GPA of 3.0 or higher
Key Responsibilities
  • Support basic analysis of People data to identify simple trends and patterns
  • Assist in gathering and organizing data from HR systems and internal resources
  • Help summarize findings and observations under guidance from the People team
  • Communicate updates and learnings clearly in written and verbal formats
  • Create a final project presentation summarizing key insights and recommendations
