Phlebotomist II – Boulder, CO
Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM, with rotational Saturdays.
Pay: $22.02 – $25.34 per hour. Salary offers take into account experience, education, certifications, and other factors. Successful candidates may also be eligible for an annual performance bonus.

- Collect specimens according to established procedures (drug screens, biometric screening, insurance exams).
- Administer oral solutions as trained.
- Research test/client information and verify orders via lab technology systems.
- Accurately navigate computers and input data.
- Obtain identification, enter billing information, and collect payments following corporate policies.
- Process specimens: label, centrifuge, aliquot, freeze, and prepare for transport.
- Perform non‑patient‑facing duties (inventory, supplies, sanitizing, filing, answering phones, email).
- Read, understand, and comply with departmental policies, protocols, and procedures.
- Assist with compiling and submitting statistics and data when required.
- Maintain phlebotomy logs in a timely manner (maintenance logs, temperature logs).
- Complete online and in‑person training courses promptly.
Required
Work Experience:
- Three years phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
- Keyboard and data entry experience.
- Availability for weekends, holidays, on‑call, and overtime.
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license (if applicable).
Required
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Medical training (medical assistant or paramedic training) preferred.
- Phlebotomy certification preferred; required in California, Nevada, and Washington.
Other requirements: effective written and verbal communication in English.
