Overview
Behavioral Health Technician | Crisis Intervention Services. This full-time, on-site role supports individuals with mental health and/or substance use disorders within the Acute Care Services (ACS) team. You will assist in identifying appropriate ACS services, enrolling clients into suitable programs, and using crisis de-escalation skills to ensure client and staff safety.

Pay range: $21.00 USD to $24.50 USD per hour. The estimated range reflects budgeted amounts; final offers depend on factors such as skill set, experience, location, qualifications, and other job-related reasons.
Responsibilities- Welcome clients to the Clinic and assess client needs.
- Complete client registration and program enrollment(s).
- Maintain thorough, accurate, and timely documentation of services, assessments, evaluations, and progress toward clients episode-of-care goals in line with policies and procedures.
- Complete bed searches and assist with placement in higher levels of care when needed.
- De-escalate potentially challenging or dangerous situations using the prescribed CFHW framework.
- Coordinate and respond to client needs with a multidisciplinary team.
- Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related field; or equivalent experience in the behavioral health field for non-related Bachelor’s degree. - Two (2)+ years’ experience in a clinical setting.
- De-escalation training; if not already trained, training will be provided within 6 months of hire.
