Client Services Associate, Capital Markets
The team develops financial knowledge, product expertise, problem‑solving and communication. You will serve clients on the Capital Markets Client Services team, helping resolve issues, interpret data and navigate the Capital IQ and Capital IQ Pro platforms. Working as a team is essential;
Client Services interacts with Sales, Content, Product and Technical Support.
After 1–2 months of training and mentorship, you will support clients over the phone, via web chats and emails. You will also receive deep‑dive training on our data, present group projects, learn about customer segments, and gain exposure to additional S&P Global platforms. Participants must complete required certification exams and a rigorous evaluation process that tests skills and capabilities.
Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) completed before March 2026, preferably in finance, accounting, economics or business.
- Ability to join a class of new hires in March 2026.
- Relationship Management:
Passion for building relationships with finance professionals and enthusiasm for learning in the financial services industry. - Teamwork:
Strong collaboration skills and ability to work well with diverse backgrounds. - Communication:
Strong communication and customer service skills to resolve client concerns and promote SPGMI product usage. - Proficiency:
Effective problem‑solving, time management and organizational skills.
S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $50,000–$55,000. Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual’s geographical location.
In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan.

Office & Interview RequirementsAll employees are required to work from the office a minimum of 2 days per week.
