We're a small manufacturing firm seeking a temporary Contract Mechanical Engineer to assist with urgent project deliverables due to a 50% capacity reduction in our engineering team.
This is a 4–8 week assignment with a focus on clearing a production backlog and a potential to convert to a full time role.
- CAD Drafting - Complete and release bracket drawings for several current projects.
- Shop Support - Provide immediate technical clarification for the production floor to prevent line stalls.
Required Technical
Skills:
- CAD Proficiency - Minimum 3+ years of experience with Solid Works.
- Manufacturing Knowledge - Strong understanding of sheet metal, extrusions, welding, assembly, and GD&T.
- Self-Starter - Ability to work with minimal oversight in a high-pressure manufacturing environment.
- Project Duration - 4–8 weeks (Potential for extension or Contract-to-Hire).
