Field Engineer - Utility-Scale Renewable Energy

A growing renewable energy developer is seeking a Field Engineer to support and manage solar, energy storage, substation, and transmission line projects from early construction through initial operation. This role works closely with EPC leadership and on-site teams to ensure safe, high-quality project execution.

• Support multiple utility-scale renewable energy projects through construction and commissioning
• Coordinate contractors and project teams to ensure smooth field execution
• Promote safe work practices and address unsafe conditions
• Inspect field work for quality and compliance with drawings, specifications, and permits
• Track project progress, identify risks, and support corrective actions
• Develop practical, field-level solutions to minimize change orders and scope creep
• Provide clear reporting and updates to internal stakeholders
• Build working knowledge of PV, BESS, and high-voltage systems

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field
• 2+ years of experience in utility-scale renewable energy projects
• Working knowledge of QA/QC and project management principles
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Willingness to travel up to 75%
