Summit Middle Charter School located in South Boulder is a tuition-free, public charter school in Boulder Valley School District serving grades 6,7,8. Math Counts Coach, Middle School –  school year - $3,500. Weekly practice on Wednesdays from 7:30 to 8:30 am. The season includes a chapter competition. The position is supervised and evaluated by the athletic director.

Responsibilities
  • Schedule and run an adequate number of practices for participating students.
  • Help motivate and encourage students throughout the program year.
  • Select the 1-10 student(s) who will represent the school at the Chapter Competition in February.
  • Take students to the Chapter Competition or make arrangements with parents and volunteers to get them there.
Qualifications

The elements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills and abilities needed for this position:

  • Certifications:

    First Aid and CPR certification may be required.
  • Experience:

    Working with middle school aged students.
  • Skills:

    Communication, organization and motivation skills.
