The Libraries at University of Colorado Boulder encourage applications for an Engagement Programming Specialist! This role is an active and collaborative member of the Learning and Engagement team. They are responsible for taking a leadership role in the development of engagement programming. They will conceive of, develop, and implement innovative programming that meets the educational mission of the University Libraries & CU Boulder by supporting the whole learner;
create logistical steps and plans for engagement programming; evaluate and revise programming workflows to enhance impact and efficiency; engage in and lead special projects to support the Learning and Engagement Team goals of creating learning opportunities that are hospitable, receptive, and welcoming to our communities, including supporting Learning and Engagement core programs like the Buffs One Read and the Culture Crawl.
Additionally, the Specialist is responsible for managing and maintaining the Libraries tricycle, Info Motion. As a member of the Learning and Engagement team, they will conduct instructional activities as assigned including the creation of lesson plans and learning materials to enhance development of information literacies. The Engagement Programming Specialist advances a welcoming library to advance the library's teaching and learning mission.
