Project Architect

Fanas Architecture is a small design-oriented firm in downtown Boulder, specializing in custom homes & remodels, as well as select commercial projects. We’re looking for a full-time Project Architect (licensed or not) to join us.

We are an extremely relaxed yet professional firm. We pride ourselves on the quality of work, and the quality of our work environment. We hire talented, fun, flexible, energetic, professionally-minded staff. We allow for flexible hours & schedules. Our staff hierarchy is much more horizontal than most firms – we give all staff the opportunity to perform all architectural tasks.

• B. Arch or M Arch.
• Architectural Licensure
• 4+ years experience with small commercial/residential projects: emphasis on custom residential
• Strong Revit proficiency REQUIRED. 6 YEARS MINIMUM. We utilize a Revit ‘exercise’ prior to employment.
• Strong drafting, design, graphics & written and verbal communication skills.
• Be able to develop architectural drawings from concept to SD, DD & CD.
• Exercise quality control of ones own work and time.
• Self-motivated.
• Excellent project management and organizational skills. Ability to juggle multiple projects.
• Positive, helpful, "can do", team player attitude is a must.
• Auto Cad Architecture, Revit, MS Office, Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop required.
• Ideal candidates will have both residential and commercial experience in small to mid-sized projects.
• Open to on-site / remote hybrid position.
• We require our staff to live within a 10 mile radius of Boulder.
• The position is for an in-house position. Remote candidates will not be considered.
