We are currently seeking a Per Diem Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Transitional Rehab Unit
. This unit focuses on patients transitioning from acute care to home or long-term care. The RN plays a key leadership role in managing patient care plans, coordinating treatment, and supporting staff while ensuring safe and effective care delivery.
- Assess patient conditions and develop individualized care plans
- Evaluate patient responses to treatments and adjust plans as necessary
- Lead and support the nursing team within the therapeutic milieu
- Ensure all care is delivered in accordance with hospital policies, safety protocols, and quality standards
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support optimal recovery outcomes
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- Minimum 1 year of experience in Emergency or Intensive Care nursing
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- Strong clinical judgment, leadership skills, and a team-oriented mindset
- Physical ability to lift, walk, carry, and stand for extended periods
