ABOUT

YOU

As an Airport Supervisor (Bargaining Unit, Local Union No. 25), you stay calm under pressure, think quickly in complex operational environments, and use strong observational and problem‑solving skills to keep airport activity safe, efficient, and responsive. You communicate clearly with diverse stakeholders, collaborate smoothly across teams, and adapt to rapidly changing conditions while maintaining composure and sound judgment. You approach every situation with a focus on safety, service, and operational continuity, balancing customer needs with regulatory requirements and the demands of a dynamic airfield environment.

What you will do:
  • Conducts comprehensive inspections and monitors airport operations to ensure safety, security, and regulatory compliance across terminals, airside, and landside areas, coordinating with stakeholders to resolve issues and maintain an efficient passenger experience.
  • Responds to emergencies as a first responder, managing staging and coordination efforts, communicating with internal and external partners, and providing accurate reporting and updates throughout critical events.
  • Supports airport security by addressing access‑control events, performing perimeter and s, coordinating with TSA and law‑enforcement partners, and ensuring secure, compliant operations in restricted areas.
  • Oversees key Terminal E activities, supervises snow‑removal and airfield support functions, manages sensitive security information, and assists with special events, training programs, aircraft escorts, and overall operational continuity.
What you offer:
  • 3‑5 years’ professional experience, in airport operations, airline operations, or related aviation setting required.
  • Minimum of 2 years in a supervisory position or equivalent experience required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to become proficient in various computer and web‑based applications.
