Title:
Valet – Galveston VDC
Shift: 1st Shift | Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Occasional overtime and weekend work as needed
Pay Rate: $20.53 per hour
Contract Type: 12‑month contract with potential conversion to a direct position based on performance and attendance.
Interview Process: Onsite interviews required. Candidates will have the opportunity to tour the facility.

The Valet is responsible for the safe and efficient movement of vehicles within the Vehicle Distribution Center (VDC). This role does not involve driving vehicles off the client’s premises. Vehicle movement is limited to transferring vehicles from parking locations into the facility and staging vehicles on the truck pad for scheduled pickup.
Driving experience is required.
Key Responsibilities- Safely drive and manage the flow of vehicles through VDC processes
- Operate automated car wash equipment
- Operate fuel pumps as required
- Perform First Point of Rest (FPOR) battery voltage checks
- Operate vehicles in a controlled yard environment
- Drive and maneuver manual transmission vehicles
- Assist with basic facility maintenance as needed
- Participate in cross‑training to support increased skill levels, including VDC IT systems
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Valid U.S. Driver’s License (any state)
- Acceptable Motor Vehicle Report (good driving record)
- Prior driving experience required
- Basic automotive knowledge
- Ability to operate both automatic and manual transmission vehicles
- Comfortable working in a fast‑paced yard environment
Work Environment Requirements
This position requires the ability to:
- Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Stand, walk, kneel, reach, twist, squat, climb, push, and pull
- Read, write, and hear instructions
- Work in varying temperatures and high‑noise environments
- Clearly defined parking spaces and drive aisles
- Directional indicators
- Posted speed limits
