What You’ll Do- Perform repairs and inspections on a variety of Class 6–8 trucks and trailers, such as brakes, diagnostics, A/C systems, electrical systems, engine components, exhaust systems, after‑treatment systems, lift‑gates, tires, etc.
- Schedule and oversee all maintenance procedures, including preventive maintenance and DOT inspections.
- Repair or replace vehicle/trailer components.
- Open and close repair orders on a company‑issued device.
- Obtain parts from local vendors and manage inventory on the service truck.
- Accurately complete DOT forms and all other documentation in a timely manner.
- Minimum of 3 years of diesel and trailer repair experience (preferred).
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work extended or irregular hours, including weekends and holidays when needed.
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Self‑motivated with strong organization and planning skills.
- Proficiency in using a computer/tablet for electronic processing of work orders, adding labor hours, and updating work order statuses.
- At least 2 years of experience performing annual federal inspections and brake inspections.
- At least 2 years of experience in truck/trailer maintenance and repair, or an equivalent combination of experience and education.
- Basic computer skills.
- Must possess proper tools.
- High School education or equivalent.
- Certifications are a plus.
- Welding experience.
- CDL (or equivalent) – a plus.
- Ability to work outdoors and in extreme weather conditions (heat, cold, humidity).
- Ability to complete all physical requirements of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.

Salary: $32 – $40/hr, commensurate with experience.
