Scoops is an introductory lacrosse program for boys and girls aged 3-8, focused on fun and personal development. Through games, dancing, and laughter, Scoops aims to inspire children to fall in love with the sport while fostering athletic growth and character building. Scoops prioritizes creating a joyful and supportive environment that allows kids to be themselves while exploring the sport of lacrosse.
Role DescriptionWe're looking for the next standout Scoops Coach in the Greater Boston area (classes typically within a 25 mile radius of Boston + Southern New Hampshire). Scoops Coaches lead high-energy lacrosse sessions for children ages 3-8, ensuring a fun, engaging, and educational experience.

- Lead engaging practices and drills to create a fun, enthusiastic environment for young athletes.
- Manage behavior to maintain a positive atmosphere during sessions.
- Teach game skills, sportsmanship, and physical fitness with a focus on fun and playfulness.
- Ensure safety for all players.
- 18 and over
- Pass a CORI background check
- Drivers license
- Strong behaviour management to effectively guide youth athletes.
- Experiences working with youth (teaching, coaching, babysitting, camp counselor, etc).
- Background in lacrosse or physical education preferred, but not required.
- Ability to teach athletic techniques while fostering a love for the sport.
- Experience in childcare or educational settings is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with young athletes, parents, and staff.
- Passion for making others smile.

- Scoops classes are run 7 days a week, with most classes taking place on the weekends and after school.
