Job Summary
:
State Street is a leader in providing electronic trading platforms for multiple asset classes, and they are seeking a Principle Java Application Developer and tech lead. The role involves leading a development team, defining technical requirements, and developing application features for a sophisticated electronic trading system.

Responsibilities
:

• Lead a small development team to define high-level technical requirements and architecture for back-end services.

• Supervise, train and manage your team.

• Develop new application features and enhance existing ones.

• Develop relevant documentation and diagrams.

• Work with other teams for deployment, testing, training and production support.

• Integration with front-end development/services.

• Ensure that development, coding, privacy and security standards are adhered to at all times.

Qualifications
:
Required
:

• Principle Java developer with excellent JEE, Spring Boot, messaging and database development experience.

• 3+ years’ experience leading development team is required.

• Strong communication skills and work ethics.

• Passionate about professional software development.

Preferred
:

• Knowledge and experience of microservices architecture and Kubernetes is highly desirable.

• Knowledge and experience of real-time electronic trading platforms is highly desirable.

• Knowledge and experience with agentic AI is highly desirable.
