Scope of work / tech stack / skills

• ETL: AWS Glue
• Language
  :
  Python - some java is preferred (API development of partnership with API dev teams)
• Data warehouse: Snowflake
• Cloud
  : AWS (EKS, RDS, IAM, Secrets Manager, S3, Glue, Lambda, SNS, SQS)
• The priority for this role is the data engineering in native cloud environment.
• Procedural Language is needed (PL/SQL)
• The HM is looking for some Java experience - for api integrations with platform / DB
• Python is needed for ETL or possibly Lambdas / scripting
• Strong AWS architecture experience and experience leveraging AWS services
  .

• 10+ years in developing and solutioning using RDBMS development and procedural language
• Experience in AWS Cloud environments (DMS, SNS, SQS, Lambda, Glue with Scala or Python, RDS like Oracle and Postgre
  
  SQL etc.)
• Containerization and Orchestration technologies
• Application web server technologies
• 5+ years of solutioning and development with ETL technologies
• 5+ years of data modelling on OLTP and data warehouse
• 5+ years of Data Warehouse and Reporting and Analytics platforms like Snowflake
• Strong understanding of API development experience with large scale, highly available Enterprise class platforms
• Knowledge of No
  
  SQL databases like DynamoDB
• 2+ years Java development experience preferred
• 2+ years of microservices architecture & development preferred
• Strong experience developing in an Agile team setting (Kanban and/or SCRUM)
• Experience working in a Dev Ops and CI/CD environment
• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience
• Ability to think out of box and design end-to-end solutions
• Passion and intellectually curious to learn new technologies and business areas
• Ability to deal with ambiguity and work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent collaboration skills to work with multiple teams in the organization
