Integration Developer

Akkodis is seeking an Application Integration Developer for a Contract with a client in Boston, MA
. You will design and maintain secure, scalable integrations and support critical migration activities to ensure application functionality and data flows remain intact.

Rate Range: $45/hour to $53/hour;
The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

• Design, develop, and maintain REST‑based integrations, middleware services, and application‑to‑application interfaces across on‑prem, colocation, and AWS environments.
• Build and support integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, messaging platforms (Kafka/Rabbit
  
  MQ/JMS/SQS), and file‑based transfers including SFTP and batch workflows.
• Develop and troubleshoot integrations involving MS SQL Server and Oracle databases, including query optimization, data transformation, and connectivity management.
• Implement secure authentication and integration patterns using OAuth2, OIDC, SAML, SSO, and MFA while ensuring alignment with enterprise IAM systems.
• Support migration waves through interface testing, data validation, cutover planning, and ensuring application and data flow continuity.
• Instrument integrations for monitoring and observability, including building Splunk dashboards, alerts, logs, and correlation IDs for operational visibility.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 8–10 years of experience in application integration, middleware development, and enterprise system connectivity.
• Proven expertise in building REST/SOAP integrations, working with messaging platforms, and supporting hybrid cloud (on‑prem, colocation, AWS) environments.
• Strong hands‑on experience with MS SQL Server/Oracle connectivity, secure authentication protocols (OAuth2/OIDC/SAML), and integration with enterprise IAM systems.

Pay Details: $45.00 to $53.00 per hour
