Position Overview

Sr. Principal Salesforce Developer, Financial Services.

Location:

Boston, MA

Salary: $100,000 - $110,000 (experience based)

Relocation Expense Provided.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, BE/B.Tech or related field.
• MCA (Master of Computer Applications) preferred.
• Proven experience as a Salesforce Developer with strong understanding of architecture and best practices.
• Proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and other Salesforce technologies.
• Familiarity with Salesforce administration, data modeling, and ETL processes.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, able to work independently or in a team.
• Excellent communication skills, able to convey complex technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
• Salesforce certifications (e.g., Certified Developer, Certified Administrator) highly desirable.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or authorized to work in the United States.

• Experience with third‑party integrations and API development.
• Knowledge of Agile development methodologies.
• Front‑end technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
• Hands‑on expertise with Salesforce Lightning in the financial industry.
• Rapid prototyping to envision challenges and propose solutions.
• Basic knowledge of integrating Salesforce with third‑party vendors and RESTful services.
• Programming, reporting, dashboards, workflows.
• Database knowledge: SQL and SOQL.
• Dev Ops best practices: version control, CI/CD, Salesforce DX, GIT.
• Full development life cycle with Agile methodologies.
• Writing Apex test classes and maintaining clean, flexible code.
• Knowledge of Sales Cloud and Marketing Cloud preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication.

• Design, develop, and implement customized Salesforce applications and solutions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements.
• Write efficient, reusable code and maintain detailed documentation.
• Perform unit testing, debugging, and ensure reliability of applications.
• Manage and optimize Salesforce configurations:
  Apex classes, Visualforce pages, Lightning components, workflows.
• Stay up‑to‑date with Salesforce releases and evaluate their impact.
• Provide ongoing support and maintenance, addressing issues and implementing enhancements.
• Conduct training sessions for end‑users and support effective utilization of Salesforce solutions.
