Founding Mobile Software Engineer (React Native)
San Francisco, CA or Boston, MA
$150K – $215K
We’re looking for a Founding Mobile Software Engineer to build our first native mobile application from the ground up.
What You’ll Do- Build and launch our first mobile app using React Native
- Make key architectural decisions and define scalable patterns
- Own the mobile experience end-to-end
- Collaborate across mobile and web (Next.js) as one unified product
- Contribute to a fast-moving startup environment with high ownership
- 3+ years of experience building mobile applications
- Strong production experience with React Native + Type Script
- Experience with Expo (build tooling, OTA updates, native modules)
- Comfortable working with native code (Swift and/or Kotlin)
- Experience in startup or fast-paced, ambiguous environments
- Familiarity with modern stacks (e.g., Rails, Postgres, full-stack Type Script) is a plus
- Strong communicator who can clearly explain technical decisions
- Entrepreneurial mindset—builders who think beyond code
- Passion for building meaningful healthcare technology
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
