Our client, a leader in the Technology and Testing Services industry, is looking for a skilled Full Stack Engineer to join their small, high-impact team for a long-term contract engagement. This project involves the critical back‑end and front‑end development, maintenance, and automation of database‑heavy applications used for internal content management and operations. This is a crucial backfill role that requires a process‑oriented professional with excellent attention to detail, who can hit the ground running to ensure continuous service improvement.
Key Responsibilities & DeliverablesThis role is focused on the successful completion of specific tasks and deliverables. Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing and deploying new features for internal applications using NextJS and FastAPI.
- Running and maintaining Python scripts to duplicate and update content across different environments.
- Performing JSON parsing/manipulation and executing simple database queries for data quality assurance and manipulation at scale.
- Managing and enhancing simple front‑end interfaces with a focus on excellent CSS skills and user experience for in‑house users.
- Actively seeking constant improvement of processes and software to boost efficiency, speed, and automation.
We are looking for someone with a proven track record of successful contract engagements. The ideal candidate will have:
- 5+ years of experience in a similar Full Stack Engineer role, working across both front‑end and back‑end applications.
- Deep expertise in NextJS, FastAPI, Python scripting, JSON handling, and advanced CSS. This isn’t a learning role—you need to be a subject matter expert.
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and manage your own time effectively, with a strong focus on attention to detail and the ability to verify changes at scale.
- A process‑oriented mindset, including understanding where checkpoints should be, and the ability to execute processes accurately every time.
- Strong Team Skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks based on overall team goals, follow up effectively, and practice self‑reflection to know when to ask for help.
