Collector, we develop technology solutions that automate Revenue Cycle Management (RCM). Our team focuses on implementing the essential medical back‑office processes that automate and integrate the unique requirements of the claims cycle. By building scalable and reliable software, we help healthcare providers streamline their billing and claims operations, ultimately improving financial outcomes and patient care.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Java full stack applications using Spring Boot and React
JS. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, build, and deliver high‑quality software features.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of code quality and best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and performance issues.
- Assist in the deployment and management of applications using AWS EC2, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Write and maintain technical documentation to support development and operational activities.
- Engage in agile development processes, including sprint planning and daily stand‑ups.
Job Responsibilities
- Support infrastructure automation using Terraform and related tools.
- Explore and implement Graph
QL and workflow automation technologies such as Camunda. - Contribute to testing strategies including unit, integration, and end‑to‑end testing.
- Participate in knowledge sharing sessions and team learning initiatives.
- Assist in monitoring application performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with product management to clarify requirements and provide technical input.
- Stay informed about emerging technologies and industry trends relevant to healthcare software.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 1 to 3 years of engineering experience in a product development environment.
- Proficiency in Java full stack development, including hands‑on experience with Spring Boot and React
JS. - Familiarity with Postgre
SQL, AWS EC2, Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform is desirable. - Experience or interest in Graph
QL and workflow automation tools like Camunda is a plus. - Ability to work effectively in an agile team setting and contribute to continuous delivery practices.
$96,000 - $162,000
Base salary range shown reflects the full range for this role from minimum to maximum. At athenahealth, base pay depends on multiple factors, including job-related experience, relevant knowledge and skills, how your qualifications compare to others in similar roles, and geographical market rates. Base pay is only one part of our competitive Total Rewards package – depending on role eligibility, we offer both short and long‑term incentives by way of an annual discretionary bonus plan, variable compensation plan, and equity plans.
