The organization requires a Senior Java Developer to support both middle‑tier server development and presentation‑tier development. The role spans user interfaces through database layers and emphasizes robust, high‑performance web applications with close collaboration across teams.

Rate: $60.00 to $65.00/hr w2
Responsibilities- Collaborate with Business Analysts to translate business requirements into technical designs.
- Develop, test, and maintain high‑quality source code across the full stack.
- Create and execute unit tests and support functional and system integration testing.
- Participate in deployment activities and provide production support as needed.
- Design and integrate application components for seamless interoperability.
- Ensure solutions meet performance, scalability, maintainability, and security standards.
- 5+ years developing web‑based applications using Java/J2EE technologies.
- Core Java expertise including multi‑threading and Executor framework.
- Proficiency with Spring, Spring MVC, Hibernate, and MyBatis.
- Experience building and integrating RESTful web services.
- Front‑end experience with JavaScript, JSP, CSS, HTML, Angular, and modern JS libraries such as jQuery.
- Working knowledge of AJAX, XML/XSLT, and JSON.
- Experience with application servers including JBoss, Apache, and Tomcat.
- Strong SQL skills including database design, stored procedures, and performance optimization.
- Experience using Git Hub Copilot in Agent mode to assist with Java development.
- Ability to create cross‑browser and cross‑platform compatible solutions.
- Strong understanding of web application security best practices.
- Preferred:
Experience developing property and casualty insurance applications. - Preferred:
Familiarity with non‑functional requirements such as performance tuning and scalability strategies.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
