Sr. Java Developer

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Application Developer to join the team of our exceptional client. This role is ideal for a seasoned developer with deep expertise in Java, Spring, and modern serverless technologies who enjoys designing scalable, reliable applications and working autonomously in a flexible, remote environment.

This position requires strong back-end development skills, comfort working across SQL and No

SQL databases, and the ability to partner closely with project teams and business stakeholders.

• Design, code, test, debug, and document applications based on technical configurations developed with analysts and project teams
• Develop program designs that ensure systems operate efficiently, reliably, and integrate seamlessly with related systems

• Estimate and track development effort to support project budgeting and delivery timelines
• Support, enhance, and maintain existing systems in response to evolving business needs

• Provide high-level customer service and partner with end users during deployments and issue resolution
• Potentially contribute to system and application architecture design

• Extensive experience with Java and the Spring Framework

• A solid understanding of procedural and object-oriented design principles
• Experience working within modern application development life cycles and methodologies
• Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively

• General business acumen and a customer‑focused mindset

• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and/or AWS
• API and contract design experience
• Strong autonomy and comfort working in distributed teams
