Jerry.ai is a remote‑first, global team that is building the first super app to help everyday Americans effortlessly manage cars and homes. We’re seeking a Senior Software Engineer who loves building end‑to‑end solutions in a fast‑moving, collaborative environment.

We’re tackling the $5 trillion+ challenge of car and home ownership by automating insurance, repairs, safety, and more, powered by AI and machine learning.

• Design and implement automation systems that handle complex insurance servicing tasks end‑to‑end.
• Ship new automations in 1–2 week sprint cycles.
• Write backend business logic that enforces carrier rules and drives automation.
• Build backend pipelines that sync policy data, deliver alerts, and power re‑shopping experiences.
• Optimize and scale internal tools (e.g., in‑house Docu Sign) to reduce agent intervention.
• Collaborate closely with product, data, and engineering ops to anticipate churn and improve retention.
• Work asynchronously across time zones with minimal meetings, leveraging Asana and Slack.
• Continuously improve backend systems, APIs, and microservice architecture.

• Minimum 5 years of full‑stack engineering experience building production‑grade software.
• Strong foundations in data structures, algorithms, and systems design.
• Ability to tackle ambiguous problems, decompose them into code, and iterate quickly.
• Ownership of end‑to‑end outcomes and continuous improvement of systems.
• Comfortable working asynchronously with a global team; excellent communication skills.
• Curiosity and adaptability—willingness to learn new tools and broaden perspective.
