Founding Engineer - New Grad

We're looking for an ambitious new grad to join our team and help us build the future of long running agents. You will be a key contributor to the Subconscious platform and shape how developers interact with our infrastructure and how trillions of agents come to life. You'll work closely with our founders, have ownership over significant portions of our product, and pack several years of experience into one.

This is the perfect role for an exceptional new grad who wants to build something at world scale and experience an startup firsthand.

• Build our platform and developer-facing APIs. You will be a key contributor to shaping how developers interact with our infrastructure and how trillions of agents come to life.
• Build intuitive, reliable interfaces that showcase the power of our core systems.
• Translate complex runtime and model capabilities into simple, usable products.
• Ensure the platform is stable, scalable, and loved by developers. You will have ownership over your work, and you will be able to shape the direction of the company. We'd love to have you join us.

• built products from scratch, shipped them to production, and had people use the product you don't know personally.
• Are graduating a university 2026 with a Bachelor's degree, Master's degree, or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Enjoy building fast and pushing to prod daily.
• Have experience with modern web stacks (see stack below).
• Are excited to work across the stack, from product design to backend systems.

• Mostly Typescript full stack, with some Python
• Express & Fast API servers
• Various GPU hosting services (Modal, Lambda, Moonlite)
• SST managing our backend on AWS
• Next.js frontend hosted on Vercel
• Shadcn + Tailwind CSS for components

We are based in Boston, MA, and are in the office 5 days a week.

We want you to be a co-creator of this platform. We can't build this company without you, and we want you to be a meaningful owner alongside us. So far, "Hongyin and Jack" built the company, but a few months after you join we will have built the company together. Your equity will reflect that.

Salary will be between $130k-$180k with significant equity ownership.
