This is a regional position. Candidates should reside in the Boston, Massachusetts area.
Core Responsibilities- Maintaining cooling systems – diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing, or installing and replacing components of the entire system.
- Conducting performance checks and regular maintenance on HVAC equipment.
- Performing additional maintenance or upgrades on out-of-season HVAC equipment.
- Responding to service calls in a timely manner, including emergency call‑out services.
- Timely and accurate completion of daily work reports.
- Operate and maintain a motor vehicle safely and legally per the PEARCE Employee Handbook and insurance requirements.
- Must be Level 2 or Universal EPA Certified (Required).
- 3+ years of experience with HVAC maintenance (commercial preferred).
- Basic knowledge of electronic, mechanical, and electrical components, including refrigeration systems, is preferred.
- Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and by email.
- Candidates should reside in the Boston, Massachusetts area.
- Must be available for after‑hours and weekend call‑outs on occasion.
- Extensive daily travel in an independent work structure.
- Occasional overnights required – company pays all travel costs and provides per diem.
- Driving to remote work sites as needed.
- Be exposed to ambient temperatures while working outdoors.
- Lift and move equipment as needed (up to 50 pounds).
- Will be required to pass a Department of Transportation (Use the "Apply for this Job" box below). Pay Range: $30 USD - $38 USD hourly/DOE. In addition to wages, employees may also be eligible for performance and referral bonuses, production incentives, tool/equipment and fuel stipends, company vehicle, per diem or other applicable compensation.
