We are currently seeking an experienced seasoned Commercial HVAC Installation Mechanic to join our fast-growing team. The ideal candidate will have a can‑do attitude and strong problem‑solving skills, as well as a high level of customer service.

• Install heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems in new commercial construction and tenant offices.
• Complete paperwork daily, recording materials used on each job in an accurate manner.
• Independently install new HVAC systems.
• Wire up all basic HVAC low‑voltage wiring: furnace, A/C, thermostats, zone controls.
• Perform stick welding and TIG.
• Fabricate duct fittings and lay out job without supervision.
• Read blueprints and lay out duct.

• Continual learning and development through First Call Academy to ensure we set the bar for skill level in the industry.
• Provide elite level of customer service, to ensure we continue to be the First Call our customers choose for their HVAC needs.

This position reports to the local Install Manager and is responsible for engaging with the install team and all of our customers.

• 3+ years of experience in install mechanic.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Experience with stick welding and TIG.
• Visual acuity sufficient to read instructions, wiring diagrams, blueprints, to install and replace HVAC equipment and parts.
• Mechanical aptitude and the ability to operate, or learn to operate, all necessary tools and equipment.
• Available to work flexible hours and on‑call shifts as needed.
• Ability to frequently lift 75 pounds and to lift and regularly carry items weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Sufficient physical ability to work in awkward places and from ladders or scaffolding as required by projects.
• Physical ability to endure high and low outside temperatures.

Language Skills

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one‑on‑one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
