We are excited to announce a Permanent Full-Time opportunity for an Experienced Mid-Level Diesel Mechanic to support our Truck Fleet n us in Roxbury, Massachusetts, and take your career to the next level!
- Hourly Pay: $32.01 per hour
- Certification Bonus: Earn $100 for each New ASE Certification Obtained, up to $700
- Quarterly Bonus: Up to $500 every quarter!

Requirements- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Vocational or Technical Certification preferred
- Basic tools required
- Experience in mechanical repair of automotive gas or diesel engines
Two (2) years or more of training and work experience is preferred - Valid Commercial Driver License (CDL) CLASS A preferred
- This position requires you to drive Ryder vehicles. You must obtain CDL within 6 months of hire.
- Pass a Ryder Drug Test, DOT physical, Ryder road test, and background check
- Perform vehicle maintenance and repairs
- Conduct standard vehicle maintenance and component inspections
- Diagnose mechanical and electronic problems
- Identify root causes of failures and perform necessary repairs
- Replace defective components as instructed
- Maintain facility and support operations
- Interact with customers/drivers to determine nature of complaints
- Comply with safety and corporate guidelines
