Role DescriptionThis is a full‑time, nationwide role for a Traveling Controls Electrician. The role involves installing, repairing, and upgrading electrical control systems in various building environments. Responsibilities include installation of building automation controls devices, panels, and related HVAC electrical components. Additional responsibilities include troubleshooting electrical issues, conducting maintenance and repair tasks for control systems, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
The role requires regular traveling (70%) to different job sites across the United States to various client work sites. Travel is generally two (2) weeks on, one (1) week off, but can vary depending on project workload. Salary will be based on relevant skills and experience.
- Experience with Electricity and general Electrical Work practices, Building Automation Controls systems wiring, installation,
- Skills in Installation, Repair, and Maintenance of electrical systems for controls and HVAC systems
- Ability to perform effective Troubleshooting of electrical and control system issues
- Foundational knowledge in Electrical Engineering
- Strong attention to detail and safety protocols
- Comfortable with regular travel to different locations for on‑site tasks
- Relevant certifications or licensures in electrical work are a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or technical certification highly preferred
- Ability to perform work in the United States
- Ability to obtain and maintain federal government clearance as applicable
