WORK Inc. is seeking a skilled HVAC Refrigerant Licensed Technician to provide hands‑on expertise in building mechanical systems, including boilers, HVAC, refrigeration, electrical, and plumbing. This role is based at the John
F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum, a nationally recognized and highly visible public institution. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical knowledge, organizational skills, and customer service abilities to ensure the smooth operation of facility systems in a complex, public‑oriented environment.
- Operate, maintain, and repair building mechanical systems (HVAC, boilers, refrigeration, electrical, plumbing).
- Respond to emergencies and contract‑related situations while on call.
- Collaborate effectively with a wide variety of individuals, including those with disabilities.
- Maintain accurate records and communicate clearly in both written and oral formats.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and federal security clearance requirements.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as an HVAC licensed technician.
- At least 3 years of experience in facilities of similar size, scope, and complexity.
- Strong organizational and customer service skills.
- Excellent written, oral, and computer literacy skills.
- Valid driver’s license with a strong safety record.
- Ability to pass security clearance administered through the National Archives and Records Administration.
- Hourly Rate: $45.00 per hour.

- Paid Time Off:
