Ground Maintenance Mechanic (Motorized) – BOS

Delta Air Lines invites applications for the Ground Maintenance Mechanic (Motorized) – BOS role in the Boston, MA region.

• Employ appropriate tooling and equipment to perform minor maintenance functions on select Ground Support Equipment, including inspections, troubleshooting, repairs, removal, and replacement of components.
• Assist Lead Ground Maintenance Technician or other technicians on motorized equipment as required.
• Complete data entry to record work assignments and communicate with other staff as needed.

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalency.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to lift 50–70 pounds.
• Proficient in English and willing to work a fixed or rotating schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Consistently prioritize safety and security and embrace diverse perspectives.
• Must achieve a satisfactory score on entry tests structured to determine ability to perform required tasks.

• Detailed knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to read and apply information from technical documents, manuals, and schematics.
• Strong communication skills and ability to coordinate repairs with Delta personnel and outside vendors.
• Completion of a two‑year degree from a post‑secondary technical school or related military experience.
