Learn more:  As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine foot patrols, maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents, and assist tenants, visitors, and staff with clear communication and customer service. You will document observations, respond to concerns, and partner with site contacts and your Allied Universal team. • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial property.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of common areas, interior spaces, parking areas, and perimeter points to help deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance or policy concerns.
• Monitor access points and respond to requests for assistance, directing guests and vendors according to property rules and reporting issues through the proper channels.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation, assisting with evacuations, and coordinating with Allied Universal leadership and local responders as needed.
• Complete detailed reports on patrols, incidents, and observed hazards, and communicate relevant information during shift turnover to support consistent site coverage.

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
